Biography
“My name is Sherry Hickey and I’ve been teaching at Reviver Academy for almost 4 years. While my college education was not specializing in Education, I absolutely love teaching and working with children. Being in a classroom setting has allowed me to also integrate my love of teaching with another passion of mine, design.
I enjoy designing spaces for my students to work in that cultivates a love of learning and opens the door for exploration.
I had the privilege of homeschooling my 3 children. Alhamdulilah, all three of my children have done dual enrollment in college while simultaneously working toward their high school diplomas. Alhamdulilah they have excelled academically and this experience opened new doors for me.
Working in an Islamic school has allowed me to impart the knowledge I’ve gained over the years to teach and preach in a broader context.
I’m excited to be teaching a new grade level (2nd!) this year and look forward to seeing what lies ahead In shaa Allah!”
